This is an article from the Irish Times reviewing a book by Richard Gills. Gill's theory is that Northern Rim countries and cities will do well (better than BRIC countries for example) over the next 25 years. There isn't a whole lot of depth in the article/review but the lat sentence puzzles me
"While a nationalist Canadian might find optimism here, the rest of us should be concerned. Nothing funny there."
Why do people write such nonsense? The review is about the economy opening up in these areas through new trade channels and cities growing. Hardly scary for anyone. The take away is that, yes, Canada is indeed well positioned if we stay on track with responsible energy and economic development. Read More Here
